ABOUT
My name is Loes Korten (Venlo, 1992) – I’m a director / editor based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and I’m mainly focussing on documentary film and photography. Since I graduated in 2018 (Audiovisual Design at St. Joost Academy of Art & Design) I have worked on lots of beautiful projects; documentaries, portrait and event photography, promotional films, aftermovies, music videos and several fiction films (as crew).
I am currently working as a freelancer for multiple organisations in the cultural scene such as Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Kunstinstituut Melly and the National Museum of Photography. Some of the artists and musicians I’ve worked with are Sophie Straat, ISAÏ, AMPFEMININE, Steef Offerhaus, Jadi D and Nemrac. Other organisations that I’ve work with are Städler Made, Oyster Heaven, Yardbird Festival and Open Rotterdam.
